Leading data consultancy also launches graduate programme for next generation of data leaders

London, United Kingdom – 3rd November 2022 – Carruthers and Jackson, the leading global data consultancy, has today announced a number of new internal roles as the company continues its strong growth. In addition to new roles and hires, the consultancy is also launching a new graduate programme to give budding data consultants the chance to work with some of the leading names in the industry to help organisations across the world improve how they use their data.

The growth of the consultancy means that Co-founders Caroline Carruthers and Peter Jackson will now split their roles to focus on the two primary areas of the organisation: CEO Caroline Carruthers will now take a lead on consultancy services, running the organisation’s day to day offering for clients. Peter Jackson, meanwhile, will dedicate his time to continuing to develop and improve the company’s flagship leading data events such as the Data Leaders Summer School, Data Talks, and its popular new LinkedIn series, Coffee and Cake.

The senior team at Carruthers and Jackson will see changes to their roles, too: Adam Smith will take on the role of Commercial and Operations Director, a position he previously held at PlayCentral, where he will be responsible for driving growth. Ashley Cairns, a specialist in data use within charitable organisations, will become the Delivery Director, responsible for resourcing, mobilisation of contracts and recruitment of consultants. Experienced data and analytics leader and consultant James Miller will become the Product and Strategy Director, where he will be responsible for research, development, and productising data services. Finally, Andrew Lunt, a specialist in data governance and recent addition to the Carruthers and Jackson team, will become the Data Management Director responsible for the execution of all our services and recommendations.

The new Carruthers and Jackson Graduate Programme will offer graduates a chance to work with some of the leading names in the data world to transform the data operations of global businesses. Carruthers and Jackson will offer opportunities to budding data consultants fresh out of university as part of its commitment to support and nurture the next generation of data leaders and experts.

“Organisations across the world are waking up to the power of data and, in order to stay ahead of the competition, they need to ensure their data operations are solid,” said Caroline Carruthers, CEO and Co-Founder of Carruthers and Jackson. “We’re delighted that so many organisations are putting their trust in us to help them in their data transformation journey, and these changes will enable us to continue to offer our leading data services whilst also giving back to the wonderful community of data professionals. I’m excited to continue to work with data professionals across every industry and every continent to help them begin their data journey.”

“Data is transforming the way organisations operate, and these changes are being driven by a community of exceptional data professionals,” said Peter Jackson, Co-Founder of Carruthers and Jackson. “We’re proud at Carruthers and Jackson to offer the data community a series of high quality and free to attend events which help to bring data professionals together and foster a more connected industry. I’m excited to take on the role of leading these events and continuing to bring the data community together to learn from each other as the world’s businesses continue their data journey.”
