Future WorkForce, the intelligent automation services company, has announced today it has been selected by NHS Barnsley, an NHS Trust in the north of England, to support the roll out of intelligent automation services that will free up time for doctors and nurses to focus more on critical patient care.

Future WorkForce has been selected by NHS Barnsley to design and deliver an automation programme using the Microsoft Power Platform. The intelligent automation experts will automate a number of key business processes across Patient Booking, Clinical Referrals, Back Office and Finance functions.

Dan Johnson, Director at Future WorkForce says, “We’re delighted to be partnering with NHS Barnsley. We have a unique opportunity to digitise key business processes to increase efficiency across the Hospital so that more time can be spent on critical patient care.”

The solutions will include some of the most innovative technologies within the Microsoft ecosystem, including low code applications, robotic process automation, intelligent document understanding and AI. Future Workforce will also provide a managed service, providing support and maintenance of the solutions for the next 12 months.

Future Workforce is a certified Microsoft implementation partner and its expertise in managing the delivery of automation services in Public Sector, combined with their trademark Build, Operate, Transfer (BOT) Centre of Excellence offering, were key to the decision on the partnership.
