Platform for optimising and distributing branded content campaign adds fourth European office following major rebrand and 1,000 customer milestone
London, UK; 8th September 2021: Getfluence, a platform for optimising and distributing branded content, has expanded to the UK. The move follows its €5 million Series A round which closed earlier in the year. Getfluence’s new London office adds to its presence in France, Spain and Italy.
Getfluence has also landed its 1,000 customers, which joins brands such as LVMH, SmartBox, SHEIN, Withings, and media agencies including Publicis, Dentsu and GroupM.
The Series A round involved Reflexion Capital, Irdi Soridec Gestion, Celeste Management and several business angels via WeSprint and Angelsquare Capital.
To support Getfluence’s move into the UK, the French startup has completed an extensive overhaul of its positioning and branding. Getfluence is now a single, central point of entry for advertisers and agencies across Europe to expand their editorial influence. The platform now has partnerships with more than 10,000 European media outlets.
Getfluence enables brands and agencies to immediately identify, select and agree terms for branded editorial content campaigns with media outlets. Content is fully managed on the platform with the impact of the campaign easy to measure and analyze. By automating every step of the process, Getfluence has removed the laborious and arcane process of arranging and agreeing editorial campaigns with individual publications. This saves all parties involved significant time and resources and ensures brands deliver the maximum impact for their investment.
Marc De Zordo, CEO and Founder of Getfluence, said: “Expanding to the UK is a critical step in our international development. From the UK we will be able to build out English language branded content campaigns for global clients. This sets us on the path to quickly grow into new markets beyond Europe.
“When you make the leap into a major market like the UK you need to ensure that your offering and positioning reflects the company you are becoming. This is why we embarked on an extensive rebrand to better reflect that Getfluence is the platform for advertisers and agencies seeking to create the next generation of branded marketing campaigns.”
Chris Perry, UK Country Director at Getfluence, said: “The UK has one of the largest media industries in the world, however, many parts of how it operates are stuck in the past and crying out for modernization. Getfluence’s platform does this – it takes a lot of the pain points out of how branded content campaigns are created which benefits both brands and media outlets. I’m certain that Getfluence will grow rapidly in the UK, and this will provide a launch pad for further expansion outside of Europe.”
