Red Helix adopts THE POPX MSP Platform to deliver on its critical business objectives
14th November 2022 – Market leading network performance and cybersecurity specialist, Red Helix, has partnered with POPX to implement its fully managed MSP Platform, powered by ServiceNow, to streamline business processes and enhance customer experience.
To build on the company’s rich heritage, and with financial backing from LDC, Red Helix is busily embarking on the next phase of growth. The business is ambitiously scaling up with a focused strategy, guided by an experienced management team that will leverage an expanding product offering with a complementary range of cloud services.
The Red Helix management team identified multiple strategic areas in the business that required attention to prepare for accelerated profitable growth. Termed “Foundation Projects,” these initiatives were given the support and funding to digitally transform critical functions, which included evaluating the underlying ‘Systems and Tools’ used by employees to serve and support customers.
With over a third of annual revenues being service-based, the team at Red Helix determined the business needed a comprehensive service management platform, combining the latest technology with best practices and improved ways of working.
Marion Stewart, Chief Operating Officer at Red Helix, said: “After careful consideration, and having implemented the solution at several IT service providers before, it was clear that ServiceNow would be the most appropriate technology to support our growth strategy. However, we wanted to avoid the common pitfalls that come with any complex solution, not only to de-risk the project but to get on boarded faster than we could do ourselves using professional services.
“We looked at POPX because they have a proven track record, providing their MSP Platform to IT service providers like us. We concluded that their fully managed offering is a more efficient way to access the power and value of ServiceNow. Combined with the all-inclusive fixed pricing, this felt like the ideal commercial and cultural fit for Red Helix. The team at POPX are easy to work with and because they focus on the IT managed services sector, they understand our business.”
POPX is designed to accelerate and de-risk digital transformation for Smart MSPs by enabling them to onboard ServiceNow at speed, with greater transparency on costs, timescales and added value. The MSP Platform allows tech service providers to consolidate applications, integrate internal and supplier systems, and deliver service automation for key processes. The fully managed service from POPX includes all integrations, development and enhancements, upgrades and maintenance, as well as training and the day-to-day support of running a complex technology.
Martin Ford, CEO at POPX, said: “It’s always a proud moment to start a new partnership with a forward-thinking client like Red Helix and that’s when the real work starts for our team. It’s fantastic to be on this journey with Marion and be associated with such a talented team. We will continuously work to help them deliver the very best experience for their customers.”
Stewart concludes: “I can’t speak highly enough of the support we’ve already received from the team at POPX. A key part of our decision-making process was finding a partner who shared the same values and who would challenge our assumptions. POPX has more than delivered on each of these and I look forward to continuing this successful relationship in the future.”
