London, September , 2021 – Today, Scaleway, the fast-growing European cloud provider, launches a special green tech edition of its Start-up Programs, in partnership with the Greentech Alliance, a community of 1000+ Greentech companies and 500+ top-tier VCs, media and experts from around the world.
The Early Stage and Growth Stage Start-up Programs involve a 6-month to year-long scheme which awards participants free cloud services and tools worth up to €36,000, as well as training and mentoring.
Scaleway for Greentech start-ups
Scaleway strongly believes that digital players have a responsibility to be at the forefront of a fairer, more responsible and greener society.
Its Greentech Growth Stage & Early Stage Start-up Programs demonstrate the company’s commitment to and investment in a more sustainable tech industry. The programs work by selecting a few outstanding companies every month to participate in the scheme. In this greentech edition, selected start-ups that demonstrate their environmental credentials will receive access to Scaleway’s cloud tools via credits worth up to €36,000 over a 6 to 12 month period, plus training and mentoring in the fields of IT, product development, and marketing. The Start-up Programs also provide participants with an invaluable opportunity to leverage Scaleway’s international network of contacts.
Both programs were originally launched in 2020 as an immediate answer to the support needs of scaling start-ups in difficult times.
As a result of GDPR, start-ups are increasingly careful about where clients’ data is stored. Participants in Scaleway’s Start-up Programs can rest assured that their data remains in Europe and is protected by the highest security standards.

The Early Stage Start-up Program by Scaleway is a six-month limited collaboration. During this period, the start-ups benefit from up to €3,600 in cloud credits, and technical guidance, to fully enjoy their infrastructure and use their time for other matters. Among the advantages, the companies joining our Early Stage Program will also be featured on our social media accounts, and have the chance to use the strength of our network to share their news and announce their product releases. Finally, they will have access to private events where they can meet their fellow programs members and collect advice from experts about business best practices.
Growth Stage Startup Program:
The Growth Stage Start-up Program by Scaleway is a one-year limited collaboration. During this period, the start-ups benefit from up to €36,000 in cloud credits, and technical support at all times, to fully enjoy their infrastructure and use their time for other matters. In addition, all throughout this journey, the Program Lead and the dedicated Account Manager will carefully accompany the start-ups, step by step, to answer their questions. Among the advantages, the companies joining our Growth Stage Program will also be featured on our blog and social media accounts, and have the chance to use the strength of our network to share their news and announce their product releases. Participants are also featured in a dedicated podcast episode in our “Startup Stories with Scaleway” series, and have access to private events where they can meet their fellow programs members and collect advice from experts about business best practices.
