Milestone upgrades make integrating cloud solution easier than ever
LONDON – Zellis, the leading provider of payroll and HR solutions for the UK and Ireland, has unveiled the third series of improvements to its award-winning Zellis HCM Cloud platform.
This update cycle delivers on the company’s promise to introduce new features and capabilities to its HCM and Payroll products, including leveraging the platform’s modern and flexible design with new and enhanced integrations with strategic technology partners.
A more integrated solution
Zellis has a uniquely strong market position, providing UK and Irish payroll to large, often global companies, some of whom use HR systems provided by their ERP vendor and specialist providers in complex areas like workforce management.
A key element of Zellis HCM Cloud, therefore, is its new API-based system which enables customers to use these third-party tools while avoiding complex integration projects and ensuring seamless flows of data between systems in real-time. This in turn leads to better, simpler, and more accurate payroll and HR processes.
Key integrations available as part of Zellis HCM Cloud 3.0 include:
- Workday HR: Customers using Zellis HCM Cloud Payroll Edition will now be able to exchange data between the two systems, in real-time, delivered as an iPaaS offering and utilising supported Workday connectors.
- UKG Dimensions: Customers will benefit from an automated, real-time feed of employee information into UKG’s workforce management tool. With this connector, Zellis has become the first payroll partner in the UK to offer exclusive connectivity with UKG Dimensions.
- Microsoft Power Platform: An update to the Microsoft Power Platform connector will now provide access to templated Power Automate workflows to help non-technical users to harness automated processes in key business areas.
- Benefex: Customers using OneHub Benefits and Recognition from Zellis’ sister company Benefex, can now integrate employee benefits and recognition data into the Zellis Intelligence Platform for use in more advanced analytics and reporting activities.
“Since the initial launch of HCM Cloud in 2020 we have worked closely with customers to align with their own IT strategies to ensure consistent value is being added, whilst strengthening our market position,” said George Dunnett, Chief Product Officer at Zellis. “To date customer uptake has been extremely positive and as a result many are already reaping the value of a more connected, data-rich system and leveraging the analytics capabilities of Power BI and integration with Microsoft 365”.
Payroll reimagined
With this release, Zellis is also demonstrating its commitment to leadership in payroll with further advances to payroll processing automation and ‘Zellis Agile Payroll’ functionality. Features include real-time reporting exceptions, alerts, and insights which can be delivered in a new, intuitive format to deliver efficiencies and improve accuracy.
Zellis Agile Payroll is designed to save payroll professionals critical time by readily identifying data easy-to-action notices for compliance and data reconciliation activity. Using Faster Payments anomalies in a dashboard so that remedial action can be taken. An updated dashboard provides, organisations can pay their employees instantly, 24/7/365, saving up to three days in the traditional payroll cycle.
“It’s been both a challenging and incredibly exciting time for payroll. Unprecedented and continual changes in legislation as the government moved to support businesses through the COVID-19 pandemic arrived at a time when new technology has spurred businesses to review the resilience and effectiveness of the critical payroll function,” Dunnett added. “We aim to stay at the head of our field, ensuring our platform offers the best, most up-to-date and easiest to integrate solution that allows businesses to focus on what they do best”.
